Elegant, Historic Townhouse in Heart of DC
This airy, two-story, two-bedroom townhouse is DC living at its best. Located in one of DC's most vibrant and convenient neighborhoods, the townhouse offers easy access to all forms of public transport and bike share; free street parking pass available by prior request. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the spacious back deck. Much of DC's best dining is nearby, or you can prepare a feast in the fully-stocked kitchen. The space This two-story townhouse in the heart of historic Ledroit Park features oodles of historic charm with modern conveniences. The downstairs foyer leads into a living/dining room with bay windows and eleven-foot ceilings. Pocket doors connect this space to the large kitchen with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. Fully stocked with spices and cooking supplies, as well as a range of appliances from Instant Pot to waffle maker to blender. The back door from the kitchen opens onto a spacious back deck. Upstairs you'll find a full bath with clawfoot tub with shower enclosure, a main bedroom with a queen bed, bay windows, and television; and a second bedroom with queen bed, desk, and television. The townhouse is on a residential block but still in a decidedly urban area. You can generally hear street noise from passing trucks, etc. in the front (main) bedroom, so if you need total quiet to sleep you might want to plan on staying in the second bedroom instead. This rental is located above a completely separate basement unit where a long-term tenant lives. Guest access Guests should be prepared to navigate stairs to reach the entrance and the second floor bedrooms/bathroom. I can approve a parking pass for free street parking upon request. Street parking is nearly always available on the same block. Registration number Exempt
