The Au Pair Suite in a family-friendly luxury home

The Au Pair Suite is a light-filled room on the second floor of a private home with a full private bath, private closet, and full-size bed. The Au Pair Suite is within a modern home in a quiet residential neighborhood near Arlington National Cemetery and just across the river from Washington DC, 1 mile from Reagan National Airport, and a 15-minute walk to Metro and many restaurants. Fast WiFi throughout the house. The space There are 4 private suites in this large home, each with their own private full bath. Three are on the second floor (up one flight of stairs) – the Master Suite, the Au Pair Suite, and the Family Suite – while the Tower Suite is on the third floor (up two flights of stairs). They are spaced well apart for privacy. The home was built in 2016 and is approximately 6,000 sq. ft. total. There’s plenty of room to spread out and take advantage of ample shared amenities, including: - Large and well-stocked chef's kitchen with modern appliances and breakfast room and adjoining dining room. - Large and comfortable family room with flat screen TV (Netflix or HDMI), gas fireplace, games, kids’ toys, and indoor play gym. - A serene parlor at the main entrance. - A spacious covered outdoor patio with gas grill, ceiling fans, and dimmable lights. - A fire pit for the adventurous, including firewood and sticks for roasting marshmallows. - Backyard with kid's playground and treehouse! - Laundry room with large modern washer and dryer for guests' use during reasonable hours (see Rules). - Three cats who roam outdoors and occasionally indoors. They're friendly and we have cat treats available if you're so inclined! Parking is on-street but free to guests. There is one spot available in the driveway (off street) on first-come-first-served basis. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the Master Suite with a private spa-like bathroom and walk-in closet. All guests share the ground floor rooms and amenities, the laundry room, and outdoor spaces. The basement and garage are private and not accessible to guests. Other things to note A co-host is available night and day for questions or concerns and will be cleaning the shared areas daily (middle of the day).
