Cosy Carters Cottage nestles in the peaceful Dorset hamlet of North Chideock, adjacent to 16th century Home Farm Cottage. A fab rambler's location, with EV charger, 40 mins walk from the Jurassic coastline, 3 thatched pubs, Spar shop, Felicity's Farm Shop, Hell's Lane smugglers hollow-way, Colmers Hill & Symondsbury Estate Cafe. 15 mins drive to Lyme Regis. The cottage is simply furnished - 2 bedrooms, (second at top of stairs) WC, kitchen & lounge. Guest parking with private, walled garden. The space Experience life in a genuine West Dorset thatched cottage, formerly the home of carpenters who specialised in making the village cartwheels. This peaceful rural retreat has near access to the beach and supermarkets in Bridport and Axminster. Guest access Private parking for two cars with electric charger. Walled garden. Bike shed. Other things to note Beside the cottage there is a private parking bay for three vehicles. There are also 2 outdoor power sockets beside the parking bay. These are not EV chargers but customers can use them to trickle charge their electrical vehicles over night for £10 a vehicle, cash in advance. An EV charger is near by for £0.50 a kw hour. The EV charges at 7 kw per hour. Please let me know if you wish to use the EV so that i can activate it. There is a walled rose garden with table and chairs, next to Carter's Cottage for your personal enjoyment during your stay. if you have a dog, there is a small black bin there for any clean ups. Please note that the bathroom hot water it a heat on demand system and not suitable for baths.
