This space is perfect for couples, business travelers, and families. Two comfortable bedrooms are ready for groups of 2 to 4 with 1.5 baths. We can accommodate an additional three guests by using the common space. You have full access to the kitchen, dining, living space and outdoor patios. We spend most of our time one floor above, but we may meet in the kitchen. Guests have access to the complete main floor of our home. You can cook a meal indoors or out. Eating spaces are also indoors and out. There is a Yamaha Baby Grand that loves to be played by our guests. Recommendations for local restaurants, hikes, or scenic drives are happily shared. Washougal has great local restaurants, several breweries and beautiful local hikes, birding and walks with the Columbia and Washougal Rivers close by. There are always great deals to be found at the local Pendleton Outlet Store. Our home is located 4.5 miles off of Hwy 14, in a rural setting on 12 acre. Our very private home is only visited regularly by deer and other wildlife. We are located about five minutes from Washougal, 30 minutes from PDX and about 45 minutes from downtown Portland. We are minutes away from some great hikes in the Gorge. The Washougal Motocross Track is 10 minutes away We are located approximately 30 minutes from PDX. There is no pubic transportation to our location. Both the Columbia and Washougal rivers are also close by to enjoy. Wood fireplaces in both the kitchen and living room are cozy when it is chilly out. Breakfast food to get you started is provided: eggs, bread, butter & jam are ready for the toaster along with coffee, tea, orange juice and milk. The kitchen is at your disposal for cooking during your stay.
