The home of Dr. Vaughan, who treated and birthed the area’s folks for many years, is a connection to Bertram’s vibrant history. The Vaughan House Guest Room is a cozy, private, master suite-like space, with a private bath (with walk-in shower), comfortable king-sized bed, TV, fridge, microwave oven, coffee-maker, WiFi, and parking in front. The Gateway to the Texas Hill Country is located close to state parks, antiquing, good food, good music, wineries, shopping, hiking, water-based activities, cycling, Bluebonnets (in-season), and so much more.
