Cozy 2.5 room apartment in a secluded farmhouse

Whether you want to unwind and relax, enjoy nature, observe wildlife, or visit attractions in the region, the location offers everything your heart desires. The vacation apartment, renovated in 2021, is located 300 meters above Meiringen. A Swedish stove in the living room (as the only source of heating) provides necessary warmth in winter and creates a cozy atmosphere. Meiringen is reachable by car in 15 minutes. (In winter, snow chains are mandatory; it's not accessible without them.) Guest access Due to the remote location, there is only self check-in and check-out. There is a SmartLock on the entrance door. Before your departure, you will receive access details and a detailed description of how to use it. A PIN code serves as the key. Other things to note In winter, snow chains are mandatory and absolutely necessary on snow-covered roads. It may be that after a night with fresh snowfall, the road is not yet passable early in the morning. However, usually by 9:00 AM, the snow on the road is cleared. The owners and the management are not near the apartment during your stay. Snow removal from the parking area must be done independently (a snow shovel is available). The heating is only provided by a Swedish stove. (There is no automatic electric, oil, or gas heating.) When you arrive in winter, it may be around 10°C in the house. However, with a fire in the stove, the temperature rises to a comfortable 20-25°C within 30-60 minutes. Smoking is absolutely taboo and strictly forbidden in the apartment.
