Welcome! After 12 years of hosting, I've learned a thing or two. Our county now only permits long term stays, so I decided to open my home for just that. If you are good following basic House Rules, maintaining a clean, quiet and considerate space, diligent about energy useage like turning off lights when not in use, I would love to hear more and hopefully have you here. And, if you happen to be looking for a yearly, much longer term home, I am very open to this. All utilities are included. The space The property has many options available, from a garage shed for your car, storage unit for bicycles or extra luggage and a divine sitting area during warm weather to take in the breathtaking view. It's an elegant, spacious quarters with attached private bath, including private front door entry. Room features a large walk - in closet, a large monitor for guests who have their own firesticks, a nook with small refrigerator, coffee maker, portable electric induction cooktop, toaster oven and microwave, along with cookware and kitchen utencils, plates, glasses, cups etc. . Important for those who are conscious about reducing toxins - the entire home is on a reverse osmosis water system. Clean water, healthy skin. Guests always comment on how quiet and peaceful it is here. It really is. We are next to public lands, which offers freedom to ride horses, bike or hike to you hearts content. It's a sanctuary and a place to feel secure and spoiled a bit, in a down to earth way. Guest access You will have access to the laundry room, washer and dryer. The whole house has softened, purified water for extra soft skin and hair. The crowning jewel of this place is the unmatched view. Delivery folk exclaim this is the best view of the valley. No kidding. I've created a little high desert Eden here with a private back yard, lush with grass and flowering bushes. Guests have access to the patio which has luxurious outdoor furniture to sit and take in the breathtaking view. Other things to note We are 30 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. 15 minutes to Carson City, 38 minutes from Reno and 5 minutes from the Douglas County Airport. The Starbucks plant is 5 minutes away.
