The Treecastle at the Roundhouse Homestead

The Treecastle started as a vision when I was a child, but came to life during the quarantine of 2020. Escaping into the woods and surrounded by nature, the treecastle is supported on one end completely by a mature pin oak with hardware from Treehouse Masters TV show. Attention to detail shows in this romantic stay that will surely be a memory to last a lifetime. For more photos and videos check out our social media pages : treehouseandchill The space This treehouse sits at 11.5 ft off the ground to the floor with total height being 35 feet. It was crafted using all local milled rough cut lumber from Hudson NY. the center of the structure is a hexagon with the second floor having a dormer and window on every side. You will be surrounded by nature yet close to amenities. There is hot and cold water inside with a sink in the kitchen and the bathroom There is a built in gas stove available for you to use and cook in the kitchen. There is a regular toilet in the treecastle for your use. We have provided a small variety of games and books and cornhole. Showers are located just a short 50 ft away in an outdoor shower enclosure pictured. The outdoor shower is visible from inside the treehouse due to the angle of sight looking down. Please be mindful of this if you plan to stay with friends. The outdoor kitchen is new for 2023. It has a glass propane cooktop, a stainless sink with running water (cold only), an outdoor park style BBQ grill and a balcony for relaxing. We allow guests to drive right up to the treehouse. Please stay on the gravel driveway. The underground septic is not far from the gravel. Please stay off the dirt with the vehicles Guest access Guests are free to use the treecastle, outdoor shower and bath, outdoor kitchen and fire pit areas Other things to note We are not new to airbnb and this is our third season hosting. We are striving to do the best we can as we continue our journey as hosts. We appreciate honest reccomendations of how to improve and become better. PLEASE NOTE: WE PURPOSELY DID NOT RUN WIFI TO THE TREEHOUSE. We hope you can disconnect from modern life, while connecting with eachother and nature.
