Nulhegan river flows into the Connecticut River just around the bend.. The entire property is on the river and features a large ¾-acre field to the left of the home where you can park your RV. The land then tiers downward towards the river. There is a stone fire pit, benches, and granite walls with granite stones that lead down to the river. In the morning and at dusk Deer and Moose walk through our yard down to the river. A shallow swim hole on the river is at the end of our property. A natural eddy creates a reverse current so kids can swim but of course, they must be watched! Due to natural silt deposits, a small beach is formed after every winter. Our children and the previous owner's children loved to swim and explore the river basin. You can tube down the river!! Kayak down the Nulhegan to the Connecticut River! sign the log-in sheet Trains- sometimes the trains go by at night behind the house on the other side of the river. Pretty neat! My family has used this property to ATV, whitewater kayak, fish, swim, hike, ski, snowshoe, and snowmobile in the area. The property has been in our family for years and has provided countless friends, relatives, and visitors with unforgettable memories.
