This large 3 bedroom / 2 bath stone unit is on two levels. It was restored with the help of our local architect, and has all the modern amenities while preserving its genuine medieval ambiance. Both bedrooms have great views. Beautifully furnished, with original vaulted ceiling, Tiberius is the “hidden treasure of Spello”. For larger parties, Augustus and Tiberius can be opened to each other. It has street access to the garden below. The space This large house is on two levels. First level has a queen bedroom, a living /dining room area with couch and tv . You walk up about 8 steps to a mezzanine level which has a large kitchen with an eat-in table which seats 8. It has a dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen with large countertops. You walk through a corridor from the kitchen to a laundry room with washing machine and a few steps further there are two full size bathroom with showers . Next to that are one master bedroom with queen bed and another bedroom with two single beds. Both bedrooms have beautiful views of the Umbrian countryside and great sunsets. This unit gives a lot of privacy for a large group of 4 to 6 people. We have the largest garden in Spello 16.000 sq ft. 1,500 s meters. The garden has four terraces on different levels. We assign a terrace / space for each unit. Often our guests want to share a sunset watch or a meal together and they may visit at different terraces. The garden is so huge that there is privacy for all guests. Guest access House can be accessed from the street. It has its own main door. Upon arrival, guests have wide access to the newly renovated multi-level garden terraces on the 10,000 square ft (930 square meters) gardens with breathtaking views of the countryside. Free Residential Parking (with Permit when available). Reservation advised. Optional free public parking is always available 9 TO 10 minutes walk away. Other things to note Spello is a small hill town in in the hills of Umbria, known as "the green heart of Italy". Tucked away near the gentle slopes of Mount Subasio, this charming 12th century village has been nicknamed "The Jewel of Umbria" because of its rich history, uniquely preserved Roman and medieval architecture and its breathtaking views. This Umbrian hidden gem offers culinary delights of regional cuisine and bring sophisticated tourists to its wonderful local restaurants, featuring local porcini and truffle mushrooms, olive oil and wine. The village boasts more than 12 gourmet restaurants with well known award winning chefs and reasonably-priced restaurants. Spello's narrow alleyways and winding cobblestone streets brim with colorful plants, enticing its visitors to explore hidden courtyards, alleyways and stone architecture. This charming historic village with quintessential views is surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards and sunflower fields. Because of its central location and train station, it is a great launch point to visit nearby beautiful historic villages such as the wine producing Montefalco. Spello's most famous festival is the "Infiorata", which takes place around the end of May/June ( Corpus Christi weekend) where locals decorate the piazzas and the streets with flower carpets. This artistic and fragrant display is the pride of the village, drawing thousands from all over the world.
