Casa da Latada is a historic family home in Cais do Pico, São Roque do Pico. Spacious, cozy, and renovated, it offers a comfortable stay with a warm, authentic atmosphere. Preserving original details and generations of family history, the house blends traditional character with modern comfort — ideal for enjoying Pico Island in a genuine and welcoming setting. From the top of the yard, guests can enjoy stunning views of Pico Mountain, the channel, and São Jorge Island. Other things to note In the Azores, it’s completely normal to occasionally see small, harmless animals such as lizards (Teira dugesii), ants, or other insects—especially in warmer months. These are a natural part of island life. To help keep them outside, we recommend not leaving food uncovered or crumbs behind, using the window screens, and keeping doors closed whenever possible.
