Take a short drive to Pleasant Bay and visit Gampo Abbey or hike Roberts Mountain. What are you waiting for? It’s all here for you to discover! Come visit us and experience the warmth and hospitality Cape Breton has to offer. You’ll be happy you came. Other things to note Visit Cape Breton Island and your heart will never leave – Born and raised in Cape Breton my roots are deep, and eternally planted in this soil. Originally from Pleasant Bay, I lived in this Acadian fishing village for more than 20 years while I raised four children. This house is filled with happy memories, if I close my eyes I can still hear the sound of laughter and the pitter patter of little feet. In 2005 with a heavy heart I moved my children from rural Cape Breton and the security of their family home to accept employment in the city. As a single mother, it has often been difficult to maintain two dwellings, but my heart just won’t allow me to let it go. It is my dream that I can someday return to the home of my heart and continue our family traditions, hopefully instilling that same sense of pride and belonging in my grandchildren. In the meantime, it is my pleasure to share my family home with you as you explore all the Cabot Trail has to offer. Registration Details RYA-2023-2403271839593172736-15662
