A completely renovated small farmhouse in Rougemont, NC, 12 miles north of Durham, NC. The driveway meanders from the road to the middle of the property, leading up to the house. There is a trail in the woods and a small stream to the west. Lots of birds to watch and listen to. Quietude.com The space The house sits on 3 wooded acres with a small brook to the west of the property. It's on a quiet road and the mood is peaceful. House belongs in a neighborhood watch where neighbors knows each other and keep an eye out for each other. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. Other things to note The house is located in Rougemont, 20 minutes north of Durham, about 12 miles from North Durham. In the middle of a three acre lot, the house sits perched on a hill, with a walking trail around the property. Wake up to the sounds of birds chirping in the distance, or sit at night by the fire pit to the sound of tree frogs; swing on the hammock and fall asleep watching the wind turn the leaves above. At night there are a million stars to sit under. We don't have access to cable or an antenna however there is a smart TV in the living room and guests may use HDMI cables to access their cell phones, laptop, Netflix or use the house WiFi to connect to programs already on the TV. In case of children visiting, please have your favorite shows downloaded on your laptop so that children can enjoy their programs. Cell phone signal is very low. The WiFi in the house can be selected to access full cell phone service. Prior to booking, be sure that your phone will accept this feature. Found in settings. Maximum number of guests, including children is six (6). Only those listed on the reservation are allowed to stay the night. There are four security cameras outside, which are monitored 24/7, pointing in various locations. Please be sure to read through and understand all house rules before making a booking inquiry. Booking the entire Farmhouse house is available only to 25 years olds and above. House is not designed or conducive to babies, toddlers or small children. Any service animal needs to have proper documentation submitted before booking is accepted. A professional cleaning of the property is needed, and paid for by the guest upon check-out. About $200.
