Or stay put and spend your time soaking in the mountains through the tree tops from the rocking chairs or hammock on the back deck. Open floor plan includes kitchen, living room, with one bedroom/bath downstairs and an upstairs sleeping loft with King/Twin bed and private bath. The space Situated on the mountain above Wolffork Valley in the Sylvan Lake Falls community and just a short hop from Black Rock State Park, “Serenity” is waiting to become your favorite place to get away from it all. If you are like most of our guests, you have come here to enjoy the outdoors and we promise you will not be disappointed. We’ve been visiting (and hiking) Rabun County for over 20 years. If you book with us we promise to share all of those secret places that no one else knows about ;) From hiking, to swimming, to rock climbing, to rafting – Rabun County offers it all, and MORE! In the Winter you’ll love the warmth of the wood burning stove and in the Spring/Summer you’ll want to spend time enjoying the quiet of the mountains on the large deck overlooking the woods, soaking in the mountain air and the beautiful view of the mountains through the trees in the distance. The deck features lounge chairs, rocking chairs, hammock, a grill and picnic table – everything you need to forget about the “real” world. If you love to cook (like we do!), the kitchen is well appointed with everything you’ll need to prepare the perfect meal, including kitchen gadgets galore, and even basic condiments and spices. You’ll want to be sure to visit Osage Farms (May – October) for fresh off the farm produce and even local meat and cheeses. If you don’t feel like cooking, you are in luck! Clayton boasts a variety of award winning restaurants, including Fortify, which was voted in the top 100 restaurants in the country by OpenTable. Be sure to make a reservation, as it fills up quick.
