We’ve been visiting (and hiking) Rabun County for over 30 years. Every season has something to love here. In the Spring/Summer you’ll want to spend time enjoying the quiet of the mountains on the large deck overlooking the woods, soaking in the mountain air and the whistle of the leaves in the trees. In Winter, you'll love the warmth and coziness of the wood-burning stove—and you'll be rewarded with amazing long-distance mountain views. And of course the Fall brings a truly magical time of year with the turning of the leaves. The deck features lounge chairs, rocking chairs, hammock, a grill and picnic table – everything you need to forget about the “real” world. If you love to cook (like we do!), you'll appreciate our well-appointed kitchen. We've stocked it with everything you'll need to prepare a meal, including plenty of cookware, kitchen gadgets and even those little basics—like condiments and spices. You’ll also want to be sure to visit Osage Farms (May – October) for fresh off the farm produce, local meat and cheeses. If you don’t feel like cooking, you are in luck! Clayton boasts a variety of award winning restaurants, breweries and places to grab a drink or listen to live music. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you have. Other things to note Serenity is nestled in the woods below the road, which provides full privacy and that treehouse feel. The driveway is short, but a bit steep. There is convenient parking at the top of the driveway if you'd rather not drive down. The cabin, decks and porch are all designated NO SMOKING areas.
