Stay in the the heart of idyllic downtown Capitola. House is perfectly situated just 2 short blocks to the beach and steps to shopping and dining. House decor is hip and cozy-- AND an ideal layout for families. It includes a lovely outdoor patio, perfect for grilling, complete with lounge seating,and dining table. Kitchen is open to dining area and sunroom, creating a comfortable living space. Dining room table expands to seat 6-10. Sunroom has cozy, gas burning fireplace, and lounge seating facing the backyard. A perfect spot for morning coffee. Living room is at the opposite end of the house, with flat, screen TV and BluRay/DVD player. WIFI and limited cable for your enjoyment. 2 lovely bedrooms downstairs, charmingly furnished. Downstairs bathroom with full bath and shower. The 3rd bedroom is upstairs, very large-- and, perfect for kids. It includes a 1/2 bath. Bunkbeds sleep 6. New twin mattresses on top, and new Full mattresses on the bottom. There is also an additional 'play area' upstairs with a new full size futon. A flat screen TV and BluRay/DVD player are also located in the upstairs bedroom for in-bed movies! Downstairs, off of the bathroom, you'll find a washer and dryer for your sandy clothes. And, our outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) is great for rinsing off, with plenty of room to hang wet suits and sandy towels. Private, outdoor patio is perfect for entertaining, with comfortable lounge seating, a succulent garden, grill and dining table.House can accommodate 10, however it is more comfortable for 8 people (especially adults!). For that reason, there is an additional $50 charge per person, per night, over 8 people. You will receive a "keycode" to access the property, just prior to your stay. I am always available via text/email and phone to answer any questions you might have. You are steps from everywhere you want to be! Rent surf and paddle boards from the surf shop a few doors down. The bikini shop is on the corner. Take your pick of restaurants, bars and shops. They are all just steps from your door, as is the beach! The city of Capitola charges a 12% Occupancy Tax to all visitors. This 12% is calculated on the Rental Amount only, and then collected by, the City of Capitola.
