The space With its large, well-appointed rooms and splendid setting within the Victoria Colonnade at the heart of Royal Leamington Spa, the Queen Victoria Apartment is a superbly luxurious place to stay. Its gracious, light-filled reception room/ kitchen boasts full-length French doors opening onto a balcony with panoramic views of the river, Pump Rooms and Parade and edged with the ornate wrought ironwork for which the town is famous. Decorated in natural shades of white and grey, with marble worktops and large flat-screen TV, the apartment provides a restful oasis in the bustling town. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, king double beds with ultra-comfortable Hypnos Premier mattresses and ample wardrobe space. All kitchen utensils, crockery, plus linens, towels and toiletries are provided and free Wi-fi and desk facilities make this an excellent workspace. Other things to note Queen Victoria Apartment is at the heart of Leamington Spa, a 7-minute walk from its Art Deco railway station and a 10-minute drive from Warwick, Kenilworth and the M40, Junctions 13 (eastbound) and Junction 14 (westbound.) It is 20 minutes by car or train to Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham Airport and the National Exhibition Centre, with Birmingham City Centre around 40 minutes away. Our apartments, at the heart of the buzzy centre of Leamington Spa, are above the picturesque Terrace Restaurant and Bar on the ground floor of Victoria Colonnade. This means that our guests can enjoy all-day dining on site, from morning coffee and cakes, through to gourmet dinners and evening drinks. At weekends, the Terrace Bar is a popular venue for live music, mostly mellow acoustic sounds and jazz, so we like our guests to be aware that there may be some music audible from their apartments until just after midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, however this has not proved to be a problem. The open-air section of the restaurant on the terrace beside the river closes at midnight but the Terrace Bar continues serving drinks until 2am. Again, this has not disturbed our guests as our thoughtful, sophisticated clientele enjoy themselves without creating intrusive noise
