Secluded Get-A-Way: Cabin in the Woods
Secluded Get-A-Way: Cabin in the Woods
Description
Want to get away from the crowds? Located at the end of a dead-end road the cabin sits on the eastern edge of the Cascade Mountain range. This is a great get-a-way spot and is close to Crater Lake National Park and hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. This is also a great location for motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles. Park your trailer and ride from the cabin to hundreds of miles of Oregon's best snowmobile and off-road vehicle trails, you only have to unload once. The space There is a hammock where you can read a book and listen to the gentle breeze blowing through the pine trees. If you forgot your book don't worry, there's plenty of books. The cabin has three decks attached to it where you can set up a chair and enjoy the peaceful calm of mother nature. The open beam ceilings and rustic feel of the cabin make it a special place you'll love. There are lots of activities nearby including: Crater Lake National Park, Lake of the Woods Resort, Rocky Point Resort, Harriman Springs Lodge, Crater Lake Zipline, and hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, and ATV & motorcycle trails. The resorts offer kayak, canoe, and pontoon boat rentals so you may enjoy the beauty of Southern Oregon from the water. There are plenty of fun activities , and all are just a short drive from the cabin. Whether you visit the majestic beauty of Crater Lake, or just spend your days in the hammock this is a great get-a-way spot. Guest access Almost all areas of the cabin are open for your use. There are some locked drawers and cabinets you will see, please don't take offense to this. My family and I still frequently use the cabin. Those locked drawers hold all the essentials we would forget going back and forth so often.
