To keep it that way, the dike will be reinforced according to legal requirements and Friedrichskoog-Spitze will be modernized. Due to the renovation measures, construction activities, noise emissions and restrictions are to be expected from autumn 2023. The dyke and mudflat access is closed until spring 2026. Please inform yourself. Friedrichskoog is located on a peninsula only about 1 hour's drive northwest of Hamburg, directly on the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park. In the southern part of the district of Dithmarschen lies the North Sea health resort Friedrichskoog in a rural location between cabbage and grain fields.
