Family pondside retreat - close to Bowdoin College

Imagine taking a step back in time but with all the modern conveniences! This quiet pond-side post-and-beam provides plenty of fresh air and wildlife. Screen porch Adirondack chair relaxing, grilling, seafood dinners made in the chefs kitchen, peeping the foliage.. Our beloved family home is just minutes away from the charming village of Brunswick, Bowdoin College, restaurants, and beaches. The space This is our family home, and is outfitted that way! Meant to feel cozy, well stocked, and like you're visiting friends. We love to cook, so you will have a full set of stainless steel pots and pans as well as all of the cooking and eating utensils needed (including all you need for a big lobster feed!). The eat-in kitchen island is a great way to hang with family and friends, and the space spills into a 6-8 person dining room for large meals, homework, puzzles and games. The first floor also includes a large living room with a roomy L couch, suitable for multiple adults to lie down outstretched. A great spot to read, watch movies, and have coffee. Or move the ottoman to the side and get your yoga mat or weights out for a workout! There are three bedrooms: The first floor has a full bed that attaches to the downstairs bathroom (shower/tub combo) and features french doors opening to the screen porch, overlooking the pond. The second floor has one queen and one full bed, with a shared bathroom (hello, soaking tub!) and double vanity. The upstairs also has an open air office space tucked into the corner for privacy, as well as a cozy seating area underneath a skylight that gives amazing afternoon sun. The screen porch off of the primary bedroom has two Adirondack chairs as well as 6 person dining table with chairs. String lights make a cozy atmosphere as you overlook the yard and pond. We have also built a simple stone fire pit on the edge of the pond. The front porch, off of the east side of the house, has two additional Adirondack chairs which overlook another area of lawn as well as the dirt road leading to the ocean.
