But Mesquite boasts plenty of attractions of its own. If you’re here during rodeo season, visit the Mesquite Rodeo (we’re not called The Rodeo Capital of Texas for nothing!). Other nearby attractions include the Devil’s Bowl Speedway, Mesquite Arts Center, Opal Lawrence Historical Park, the Rows of Texas (our bustling dining and shopping district), and the Paschall Park Butterfly Trail, all just under 10 minutes away.
