This converted 19th century country house is located in the heart of the South-West of France, between Bordeaux and Toulouse. It has been completely renovated and modernised to offer a high standard of comfort and style throughout the property and is the perfect place to gather with friends and family, with its impressive central communal area and jaw-dropping views over the French countryside. Whether it be summer, autumn, winter or spring, Marigné is a place to switch off, relax and recharge. The space I'm Elodie, born in the South West of France but now living in the North of the UK with my husband and our 2 children. I'm passionate about about my beautiful property Marigné, as it is the place where I spent most of my childhood, with my grand-parents. My aim is for all of my guests to have an amazing experience whilst staying there. The house has the following characteristics: - 160m2 living spaces and 60m2 terraces - 4 bedrooms to accommodate up to 8 people - 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, ensuite bathroom and toilet - 1 bedroom with a double bed - 1 twin bedroom with 2 x single beds - 1 main bathroom with shower - 1 main toilet - 1 games room/snug on the ground floor with TV - 1 large mezzanine with TV and air-conditioning - A fully equipped kitchen - 2 terraces (one covered and South facing, one semi-covered and North facing) - a 9x4m swimming pool (open from May to September), entirely privatised - a hot tub within its pool-house (open all year round), entirely privatised - large green spaces - Free WIFI - Air conditioning in the living room / kitchen / lounge - High chair, baby bath and cot (available upon request) Guest access The property is accessible very easily, using sat nav. It is easy to park at the front or at the back of the property. I will send a welcome pack to booking guest. Other things to note The location of the property is perfect for those who like good food, weather and exploring picturesque villages and châteaux nearby. The style of the property is a perfect mixture of old meets new. The quiet surroundings bring calm and peace to visitors. The walking and cycling are amazing. High standard of amenities within the property. The countryside views are amazing and the house is particularly enjoyable as the sun sets on the poolside and when dining together on the front terrace. Possibility to have to pool heated to 28C for an extra 200€ per week. Pool towels are not included in the rental.
