Situated a short distance from Omeath village and start of the Omeath Carlingford Greenway. 10 minutes drive to Carlingford and Newry. I.8km from Omeath village and start of Omeath Carlingford Greenway. Nestled in the Cooley mountains with views of Carlingford Lough and Mourne Mountains. Interesting gardens including fruit, herb, wildflower and native woodland. Visitors can use the herbs and fruit in season. We have five hens who lay lovely eggs and a neighbouring donkey who welcomes guests with his braying. Omeath is an old Gaeltacht area, Irish speakers and learners especially welcome. Tá fáilte rómhaimh. Homemade bread and jam on arrival. Perfect for walkers and cyclists. An Bothán is wheelchair accessible.
