Originally built in 1895 as the Original Lakefront Estate, this historic home later served as the recreation center for Camp Quimby, a girls summer camp that ran for 3 decades in the early 20th century. The unique Adirondack retreat offers stunning, unobstructed views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding mountains. Wake up to picturesque vistas over Meredith Harbor, and enjoy breakfast with a lake view through a 12-foot sliding glass door or from the seating areas on the wraparound deck. The space four large bedrooms. Two main bedrooms have spectacular water views. Also a very lake living room, and a private den as well as a seperate laundryroom. Boat slip available for additional $500 fee. Other things to note The home is within a 10 minute walk to historic Weirs beach and boardwalk. On the boardwalk there are bumper cars, ice cream and gift shops, arcades, mini-golf, restaurants and a marina that offers boat cruises, and daily boat and jet-ski rentals. We are a 10 minute drive to Gunstock Mountain which has amazing summertime activities including: top to bottom Zip Lines, a mountain coaster, hiking a spectacular rope course and restaurants.
