Cat's Meow Studio B is like a rustic, cabin near the woods. It's located behind our Studio A/garage building and is a private stay with a bathroom, a combo living room/bedroom, and a full kitchen. The bed is a full-size/queen futon. It is a perfect overnight stay for visiting the Redwoods, or for an extended stay when you need more time to be here on the North Coast. Cat's Meow Studio B is perfect for one or two people. It has a futon/couch which makes in to a full-size/queen bed. It is a little stark and is a decorating work in progress. The bathroom has no sink, but the kitchen sink is only a few steps away. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, 4 burner gas stove, micro-wave, coffee pot and a small table which will double as the desk. There is a dedicated WiFi router and laundry is available for extended stays. Parking is about 20ft. away and there are motion lights on the garage. Cat's Meow Studio B is a private stay with a kitchen, living room/bedroom combo and a small bathroom with the toilet and shower stall. Extended stay guest will have access to the laundry in the garage which has a separate entrance. They will not have access to any other buildings on the property. I show all of our guest in to the Studio. I can give advice on local points of interest, food, and travel conditions. I am an avid pickleball player, so I can also tell guest about places to play pickleball in our area. Cat's Meow Studio B is located east of Arcata. The western portion of our property is a dedicated wetlands with a creek that defines the western property line. We are minutes from Arcata, but it feels like a cabin in the woods because we have several Redwoods on the property as well as other trees and hedgings. Because of the way the buildings on the property sit, it feels a lot more rural than it is - definitely not a suburb. Parking is about 20ft. from the front door. We are 1 mile from the nearest bus stop located at the Sunny Brae Shopping Center. We are 5 minutes from Arcata which has a good bus system that links to the Redwood Transit bus system that services a lot of the towns on the North Coast. This is definitely a bike friendly area with multiple bike paths. I have a very strict no smoking or burning of anything in either of the Studios, nor on my property. This includes candles and incense. Also, I have a very strict "no animals allowed' in either of the Studios policy as well. Please do not ask. I need to be able to guarantee for my guest with allergies to animals that no animals of any kind have been in either of the Studios. There are a few stray cats on the property, as well as migrant deer and raccoons. None of these are "pets". We do feed the cats outside. The parking is close by. We live behind the Studios. Our house is separate structure and is not part of the stay. We ask our guest to respect our privacy. I am always available by phone, but do recognize sometimes it is easier and faster to answer a question in person.
