Cozy Maine Lakeside Family Cottage
Description
A cozy summer cottage on David Pond in an idyllic spot for camp fires, board games, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Perfect for reconnecting with family and friends. The space Welcome to our cottage! It has everything you need except your food and clothes. Enjoy sunrise breakfasts on our screened-in porch, a cookout by the grill and picnic table after a refreshing swim, and a peaceful canoe ride around the lake. A floating dock just off the shore is perfect for a quick swim. Good news — you can drink water straight from the tap, so no need to bring your own! A quick note: This is our personal home, where we live for several months of the year tucked away in the woods. Because of its natural setting, it’s not a pristine, hotel-like rental—there may be some dirt, insects, and the everyday reminders of living close to nature. We hope you’ll enjoy its authentic, cozy feel and the peaceful beauty of the surroundings. CHECK-OUT Please check out by 10:00 AM. We need time to prepare the property for our next guests. Thank you for your understanding. QUIET HOURS To respect the peace and privacy of all guests and neighbors, no loud music, shouting, or yelling is allowed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. HEATING SYSTEM The camp is heated with baseboard heaters. Thermostats are located in the dining room and kitchen. Please do not set temperatures above 70°F during the day and 60°F at night. BOATS & WATERFRONT SAFETY Your safety is our top priority. You are welcome to swim, canoe, and kayak in front of the camp. However, per association rules, guests may not use the private boat launch. You may bring your own canoes or kayaks and launch them from the shore or the common lot. Any boats stored at the shore are at the owner’s risk.
