This charming home sleeps 6 to 8 people comfortably (NOTE: 6 ADULTS MAX) in 3 bedrooms, plus a loft (for children ages 6-10) and has all the amenities provided for a memorable vacation: Wifi, large Smart TV w/Cable, DVD, fireplace. Newly renovated modern kitchen with new cabinets, plus dishwasher and garbage disposal. Luxury vinyl flooring throughout. (The three bedrooms are carpeted.) NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS & TOWELS. Pillows, blankets and comforters are provided. Self check-in. Private setting on large, wooded corner lot. Many beaches within 1-4 miles; close to restaurants, shopping, hiking/biking trails. Long driveway is large enough for a boat/trailer. Ski resorts within 10 miles: Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and North Star. Large deck with barbecue provides a beautiful setting to enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon nap or evening cocktail. Plenty of room for the kids to play in the large backyard, which includes a horseshoe pit. In the winter, the kids can play in the snow in the front & backyards. We have sleds and saucers under the deck -- and we get some pretty good mounds in the back yard after a good snowfall! Ample room for games in the summer. All guests must meet the minimum age requirement: 21 years old. Self check-in via lock box. Make yourself at home -- with access to our entire house, deck and yard. Accessibility - we have a long, flat driveway (not on a hill), so you can pull right up to the front porch. There is only one, shallow step up to the porch - and then you're inside - with wide hallways and easy access to all the rooms and the deck. CHECK-IN: 4:00 PM / CHECK-OUT: 11:00 AM. We are always available by phone, email and text, and we also partner with a local housekeeper and handyman in case anything needs immediate attention during your stay. Our home is located in a "residential" area -- in Tahoe, that means no sidewalks or street lights. It's residential, but rural, and we are steps away from excellent hiking. T.A.R. T. - Tahoe Area Rapid Transit -- an excellent bus system that can take you into Tahoe City for shopping/restaurants & also to the local ski resorts. And, of course, there is always Uber and Lyft! We are pet friendly (on a case-by-case basis), and our pet fee is $50. After approval by host, we ask our guests to provide a dog bed/crate for your pet to sleep in at night. Pets are not allowed on the furniture/beds, out of courtesy for the guests who are coming in after you. Also there is a 10% Placer County Occupancy Tax and 2% TBID assessment (North Lake Tahoe Tourism Business Improvement District). We do not offer 3-4 month ski leases.
