Private 2 spot parking in garage and a parking pad for oversized vehicles. The space We have 2 large open space living rooms with lots of seating and tables for large groups to mix and mingle at. Also, a private, outside rooftop deck for your group to enjoy the awesome Chicago weather. This is a single family home that was originally built and owned by a bootlegger during the prohibition period of the 1920's. He had a boat in nearby Belmont Harbor and would sail to Windsor Canada to pickup whiskey and then sell it from the backyard to locals. He was always on the lookout for cops. There is one remaining "escape door" in one of the bedrooms on the main level. We keep it locked, but it still works to get you outside fast. We have 6 bedrooms and 10 beds on 2 levels; so groups of 20 can be easily accommodated. There is a foosball table, vintage slot machine (still works!) and lots of board games. There's a working fireplace on the main level along with very comfortable leather chairs and sofas. The large dining room is just off the kitchen and can seat 10 people. There are several other tables and a bar between the kitchen and dining room that can seat another 10 people. All kitchen appliances are new and the kitchen is stocked with cookware, utensils, plates, cups. There is a coffee maker with coffee, creamer and sugar provided. Also a blender, toaster, crock pot and more. The base price covers up to 10 people. There is an extra charge for each person above that. Pets are welcome and also have a fee. Your total bill will be calculated when you make your reservation. Guest access It's a single family home. You get the whole place to yourselves including the rooftop deck on the garage. If you use the roof deck, please note that the "quiet hours" are from 10pm-8am every day per the City of Chicago Noise Ordinance. Our neighbors are very sensitive to this and we do not want to upset them. If they call the police it will be a problem for me and you. I am counting on you to respect this rule.
