Drive a short distance north to Smelt Sands Park to walk the all access portion of this oceanside path or walk south to the Amanda trail and hike up to Cape Perpetua Lookout. High Speed Internet for Telecommuters. The space Our cozy and bright quaint 2-bedroom home is in the heart of Yachats, the Gem of the Oregon Coast. Centrally located in the village downtown area with all its character and myriad amenities. It's a short walk to the sea or outstanding restaurants with fresh sea food. Lots of parks with ocean and nature views. Our upper deck is great for sun bathing. We are located on the Central Oregon Coast half-way between Newport and Florence and a short commute to numerous other coastal attractions, sightseeing vistas and recreation areas. The house was originally built as a small fishing cabin in the early 1960's. While there have been extensive upgrades since those days, the house has the feel and charm of a long-time family home Guest access Entire house including back yard, upper and lower decks, garage with full laundry area and attached office/bonus room that's nice for making private phone calls, telecommuting, taking a nap on the fold down couch or watching TV. Other things to note There is a green binder on the kitchen table with guest information and house instructions that is also loaded with local activity and site seeing suggestions and brochures. Yachats and the surrounding area host numerous events throughout the year. The Commons a block North hosts a seasonal Sunday Farmers Market or head over each morning for a Yoga or exercise class or play pickle ball with a small donation at the commons.
