The Berghaus lodge is a private club nestled idyllically on 5 alpine acres bordering Summit East ski hill with dramatic views of the Gold Creek valley and the majestic granite ranges that overlook it. This is a wonderful rustic lodge with beautiful scenery, large communal rooms & an outdoor deck to take in the valley view. Lodging for all of your family and friends to stay overnight. The space The Continental Club's Berghaus is composed of two buildings connected via a tunnel. The Main Lodge and The Bunkhaus. The Main Lodge comprises the kitchen and social spaces in addition to two bathrooms (Male/Female with 2 toilets each). Expansive windows, large fireplace, Game room, Airhocky and Fussball table await you. The large fully equipped kitchen allows your group to create memorable meals. No Freezer or dishwasher on site. The Bunkhaus holds the sleeping and bathing quarters as well as the laundry area. Each Bunkhaus floor has a shared Male and Female bathroom with two sinks/toilets and one shower in each bathroom. We do not rent rooms individually. The lodge has 14 bedrooms of various arrangements to choose from. The Berghaus is a D.I.Y (do it yourself) space. Bring your own Bedding, blankets and towels OR rent sets from us!(Advanced notification required, $25 per set. Arrangements can be made to have beds made). Guests will make their own beds and choose their own rooms. All beds and pillows are fitted with hypoallergenic covers. The outside area's are flexible for your personal usage. We have a large flat area below the property for games or setting a function. A couple outside tables with chairs to enjoy the view or take an outside meal. Strict quite hours outside and in The Bunkhaus from 10pm to 7am. Caretaker lives in basement apartment of The Bunkhaus. Caretaker will not interact with guest unless in case of an emergency. Guest access Access to the lodge is via a short spur along a maintained National Forest Road. Low clearance vehicles are not advised. Beware of potholes. We have plenty of parking around the building. The property is available for your personal use with the exception of toolroom, caretaker apartment and patio, attic, and locked storage rooms. Other things to note Remember to bring toiletries and bedding (Or rent sets from us. 25$ per set - includes sheets, pillowcases, towel, washcloth). All Bathrooms are stocked with hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. Kitchen is stocked with cleaning supplies, garbage bags, paper towels. Garbage: 2-40 gallon garbage cans included with base price, additional garbage charge of 20$ per additional bag. Recycling: 2 -40 gallon cans. Compost: 1 -40 gallon can. Cardboard: 1 -40 gallon can. *No charge for additional compost or recycling. (if Recycling and or compost is not properly sorted then $50 per hour to fix or $20 per bag. Per the discretion of the coordinator. )
