Grandcamp-Maisy is a town located in Normandy in the department of Calvados, close to the landing beaches (Omaha Beach & Utah Beach); Originally, Grancamp was a fishing village. In the 19th century, the village was one of the largest fishing centers, but also oyster farms. The space Authentic renovated fisherman's house, on 3 levels with 2 sea views (1st and 2nd floor), ideally located in the heart of Grandcamp-Maisy. Walking distance to the beach with this house located 40 meters from the sea. Grandcamp-Maisy is located between the D-Day Landing beaches of June 6, 1944 (Utah Beach and Omaha Beach). This townhouse without an exterior is also located 5 km from the historic site of Pointe du Hoc where stunning sea views await you. Closed courtyard for storing bikes, beach games... Forget the car: At the foot of the house you will find all the shops (bakery, butcher, tobacco-press, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and all the leisure activities you will need. Fishing and recreational port – Enjoy fish and shellfish every morning at the Fish Market, a 3-minute walk away. Ground floor: Open kitchen furnished and equipped with beautiful dining area and relaxation area – Bathroom with toilet. 1st floor: Large spacious and bright 30 m² living room with sea view, TV. 2nd floor: 2 separate bedrooms: 1 bedroom with bed facing the sea comprising a 140 x 190 bed and the 2nd bedroom with 2 90 x 190 beds – This second bedroom gives access to the bathroom. Sheets, duvets, pillows and dish towels provided. All windows have roller shutters, perfect for a deep sleep. Parking is possible on the street in front of the house and on the surrounding streets and free communal parking is also available within 200 meters. Electric car: a charging station is located on the Place de la Mairie de Grandcamp-Maisy (24/7). Tours of iconic D-DAY sites, batteries and museums.
