In Humptrup on the North Sea coast of North Frisia, away from the hustle and bustle, the new and stylish LYKKE HUS is located in a quiet residential area, directly in front of Sylt and the gates of Denmark, on a beautifully established property. Lykke means "to be happy" in Danish. Vacation in LYKKE HUS, relax and be happy. The space The cozy Lykke Hus is located on a beautifully overgrown property. On the quiet terrace you can enjoy the garden. The house also has two parking spaces. Kids welcome! At Lykke Hus, children can simply be children: on the large playground (3 minutes' walk from Lykke Hus), they can romp around to their heart's content while the parents relax at the table. Are you traveling with your baby or toddler? A crib is ready for you. Hardly any other region of Germany is as much characterized by the fascinating interplay of clouds, waves and wind as North Frisia. The region stands for quality of life, deceleration and relaxation. The romantic town of Tønder (10 minutes from Hyggehus) is worth seeing. Many like to use the town near the border for shopping and visit the antique dealers, for example in Tønder or Møgeltønder. Hjerpsted Beach (18 km from Lykke Hus) is a smaller beach behind Højer and not far from Rømø. From here you have beautiful views of the Wadden Sea and in good weather direct views of Sylt and Rømø. The island of Rømø with one of the longest sandy beaches in Europe is not too far away. The Danes have a word for happiness: lykke. We have the Lykke Hus for that. What makes Sylt so special? Sylt is the island of contrasts. Thatched houses on small wharves, narrow streets and endless sandy beaches, mudflats and heathland. Take excursions to the island of Sylt, then enjoy the day on the island and in the evening take the train via the Hindenburgdamm back to the mainland to the cozy Lykke Hus. The last train leaves the island at 1:00 am back to the mainland. (From the island to Klanxbüll station only approx. 15 minutes by train).
