Sample sustainable living! My home is an experiment in urban homesteading and zero waste practices. Come stay and help or learn. I have an extra bed in my basement. You'll be sharing the light basement and utility bath with me if other rooms occupied. The basement is a shared rough (think glamping) efficiency apartment and you will only be invited to book for a lengthy stay if we get along very well. Any allergies? The space I have one twin bed and a queen bed in my basement that may be available. There's a writing table and I can make space for hanging clothes. Limited drawer space currently. It's technically a shared room but you will find it to be rather private. There is a bedroom directly above the basement sleeping area and if you will be going to bed early, I can make an effort to ensure all overhead are quiet by a certain time. The main level is all wood and sound carries. Guest access Guests will have access to the basement, patio, and utility bath during their stay. The kitchen and indoor facilities will only be available through prior arrangement while an owner is home. Please leave doors open or closed as you find them and switches on or off as you find them. Other things to note Respect the privacy of other guests and residents. Except in the case of an emergency or mutual agreement, the dark basement, attic, office, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, garage, sitting room, dining room, and TV room are off limits. Please provide immediate notification of any damage or loss. If you are driving, please park by the fence at the south end of the property. Please do not wait until you leave to bring issues to my attention. Don't be shy. My goal is to make your stay comfortable, affordable, and to address any concerns that arise fully and in a timely and direct fashion.
