Pemaquid Point Beach, is one of Maine's most gorgeous sandy beaches and home to the most photographed lighthouse in the world. Pemaquid Point Light, is about 20 minutes from the house. The ferry to spectacular Monhegan Island leaves daily from New Harbor and Port Clyde about 20 to 30 minutes from the house, respectively; and the popular towns of Camden and Boothbay Harbor are each about 20-30 miles away.
