Andulore Cottage is in quiet residential neighborhood and is in north San Mateo about one block from Burlingame, and half a mile from Burlingame Avenue and Caltrain Station. It is centrally located on the San Francisco mid-peninsula and is between downtown Burlingame and downtown San Mateo. Adulore cottage has what generally is not available today in new developments. It is situated on a large lot and has a spacious beautiful backyard and patio with brick fireplace and charcoal BBQ. The garden is what makes this home so special. It is an oasis of calm in busy world. Though the house is smaller by todays standards, about 1,000 square feet, it lives large and is in a quiet neighborhood. Occasional trains can be heard in the distance as with the proximity to the Caltrain station. SFO Airport is within a ten minute drive. Coyote Point Recreational Center is nearby off Peninsula Avenue. It is a great place for a jog, or just to enjoy the bay front beach, or museum. Napa wine tasting and the Monterey Coast are about 2 hours away by car and can be a great day trip for adventure. Staying at Adulore Cottage will put you in the center of the Bay Area and minutes from everything on the San Francisco peninsula including the Coast. Andulore Cottage is a special place on the San Francisco mid-peninsula that is walking distance to the Caltrain station in Burlingame. The train can be taken to get to San Francisco, Silicon Valley as well as SFO airport. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is accessible by taking the train north to the Millbrae station and walking across the platform. Caltrain and BART are part of an intermodal station in one location in Millbrae. BART is what one would take if heading to SFO airport, San Francisco, or the East Bay. This home is located between Burlingame downtown and San Mateo downtown where you'll find great places for dining and shopping. Additionally, Safeway, CVS and Starbucks are a short walk just 2 blocks away from this home. The 101 freeway is accessible within about 5 minutes by car. TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX: Included in pricing when you book this home, this property is subject to 14% city of San Mateo transient occupancy tax (T.O.T.) on the nightly rate and cleaning fee on bookings of of 30 consecutive calendar nights or less, counting portions of calendar days as full days.
