Popular with locals as well as visitors there are some lovely bespoke shops as well as an award-winning butcher and selection of bakeries and deli’s. The Simonside Hills are ideal for the serious walkers or a gentle stroll along the River Coquet is perfect for those wanting a more relaxing holiday. Rothbury is set along the River Coquet where you can fish for salmon and trout. The golf course is just over the bridge should you be a keen golfer.
