Cotswolds Railway Carriage for Two, Dogs Welcome

Sleep in a converted Great Western Railway carriage in the Cotswolds. Tucked into farm grounds just outside Cirencester, it is a cosy hideaway for two (and the dog), with a very comfy double bed, a kitchenette, a large shower and an electric fire for cool evenings. Sit out on your own decking with a glass of something as the afternoon sun comes round, and look across the paddocks to the donkeys. Cirencester's cafés and restaurants are five minutes away by car. The space The carriage A lovingly converted railway carriage with original Great Western Railway features and warm wood panelling throughout. It is small, but guests tell us it has everything you need. Inside A double bed made up with hotel-quality linen, cushioned bench seating, a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. An electric fire and a heater keep it snug on cooler nights. The kitchenette has an induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, with pots, pans and crockery for simple meals. The shower room has a large shower, with fresh towels and toiletries provided. Outside Your own decking with a table and chairs, which catches the afternoon sun, and a lawn in front. The view is across the paddocks, where three donkeys live. A lit path and a few steps lead up to the carriage, and there is free parking on site. Dogs Dogs are welcome. The garden is not enclosed and there is a road, a pond and livestock nearby, so dogs need to be on a lead outside. Good to know The carriage sits in the grounds of a farmhouse. It is peaceful but not completely private: other buildings and a driveway are nearby, and you may hear the main road. It can get warm inside on hot summer days (a fan is provided). Guest access The carriage and its decking are yours alone. Self check-in with a lockbox from 4pm (arrivals by 9pm please), and check-out is by 11am. We send directions and the code before you arrive. Free parking on site. Other things to note Three donkeys live in the paddock next to the carriage. You are welcome to say hello, but please do not feed them. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead outside: the garden is not enclosed, and there is a road, a pond and livestock nearby. Check-in is between 4pm and 9pm and check-out is by 11am. Our team is not available by phone after 9pm. ID check and deposit: after booking, the lead guest completes a short ID check and deposit step with our partner SafeGuest. You choose either a Damage Deposit of £100 (your card is saved and nothing is taken up front; it can only be charged for a claim SafeGuest approves after check-out) or SafeGuest's No Deposit fee of £15 (a one-off fee paid to SafeGuest).
