Our cozy 1921 cottage apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood beneath 19 200 foot redwood trees. In Fairfax, you're not too far from anything! Lots of of open spaces for hiking and biking. Our house is within walking distance of the town center on a closed road ,with minimal car traffic Tranquil location The space You'll have your own front entrance with front porch. 2 bedrooms. (1 Queen and 1 single)couch in the living room folds out to a full size) Large living room area with skylights. Full bathroom, large tub. Jr kitchen, we have a large sink, mini frig, electric skillet, toaster oven, panini grill or griddle. microwave, blender, coffee and tea makers and a few other small appliances, so it's good for a little snack or breakfast and beyond. We're located just 10 min walk to downtown Fairfax where there's lots of good food, bars with live music and possibly the best ice cream shop ever. The bus stop is located right downtown so it's easy to catch a bus to the city, or a shuttle to the beach. You'll also be located a 10 min walk from loads of hiking and mountain biking trails in Deer Park. If you're feeling energetic you can hike up to one of the five lakes nearby, or just drive 20 min up the hill. We have chickens that roam around in the yard so we ask that you not use the gate. I There is one spot on the property to use and there is plenty of free parking down the street.
