Private room with full size bed, comfortable mattress, desk & chair, dresser, bench & mirror. The home is in quiet residential area close to a park, school, bus, bike paths, mall, I205 & 224. The guest bathroom may be shared with other vaccinated guests, but not always. I'm not in Portland but am relatively close especially if driving. Feel free to park in the driveway. Arrival will need to be arranged but after 3 pm is OK. I have an old boxer, Gypsy who is sweet & sleeps most of the time. Ranch style house in a quiet neighborhood. Large fenced back yard with small patio, table and chairs. A small covered sitting area in the front of the house. There are 3 parking spaces in the driveway that are available on a first come basis. The floors are hard wood throughout. The room has a door lock and key. Please be respectful and use very low or no sound after 9:30. It also has a small desk and chair, mirror, dresser, bench, lamps, a fan for your comfort, laundry basket, bookshelf with space for you, extra blankets, pillows of different types and a towel set. You will have full access to the shared guest bathroom, kitchen and appliances, dishes, washer and dryer, living room with cable TV, WiFi, backyard, parking. There is coffee and tea, bread with spreads, cereal and almond milk and sometimes fruit available for the mornings. I ask that all guests keep their personal items in their private room and that after use, all common areas including the bathroom and kitchen are left clean and in the same condition as before use. There are Lysol wipes available in both areas. Thank you. I am very happy to be sharing my space! Sometimes I am gone for long hours or even out of town but I enjoy talking with guests. If you prefer privacy and to be alone that is also quite possible here. Quiet residential neighborhood with a park down the street, a school with grounds 1/2 a block away, Safeway, Starbucks, Subway, Papa John's Pizza, coffee shop, gas station, salon and nail place, 7-11 and dry cleaners just up the street. A bit further and more options. The Tri-Met bus stop is 1/2 block away and another one about 1/2 mile away for later hours and weekends at which times the service is limited . I 205 and the 224 expressway are near. By car it is about 15-20 minutes to downtown Portland with no traffic-rush hour can be double that, 45-60 minutes to Mt. Hood and 2 hrs to the coast. Because of the pandemic, I require a photo of your vaccination card please. I am fully vaccinated and boosted and I am happy to show you my card. I also ask that all guests clean up after themselves, keep their personal items in their private room, and leave the bathroom and kitchen clean after use.
