Spacious granny cottage with sauna for rent in the countryside of Kemijoki, near the old railway station. Good central location halfway between Kemi (69km) and Rovaniemi (50km) near the 4 road. If necessary, transport is arranged through us. Rowing boat and bicycles for renters. Local company offer different activities according to the seasons. Feel free to ask! We agree on a case-by-case basis whether we allow pets. Public beach within walking distance. The space The house is in very good condition and clean. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The house has one bedroom with two separate beds. The double bed is located in the second space of the living room, which is divided by an open wall structure. The kitchen has everything you need. Guest access The ground floor of the house is completely usable and the entire yard area. Other things to note Our lovely house was once an old village shop. The oldest part was built at the beginning of the 20th century and the store was expanded in the 1950s. After the store closed at the end of the 1980s, the ownership passed to a relative's son. He renovated this house in 1995 to its present condition. The living room of the house, where the fireplace is located, used to be the shop part of the store, and the open wall structure is located at the old front door. After buying this wonderful set, we didn't want to change the interior arrangement, but we find this to be a very lovely grandma.
