Sleepover at Grandma's!
Whether you’re traveling for work or fun, we think you’ll find our central location to be a great fit. There's lots of great shopping, restaurants, and outdoor activities available within just a few miles. If you need to travel beyond our quiet, little neighborhood, you'll also find easy access to I-35 less than a half mile away with access to other highways nearby. As our guest, you will stay in our home’s master suite which we have set up specifically for our guests. In the bedroom you’ll find a queen-sized bed, dresser, and wardrobe along with two bedside tables. You’ll also have access to a walk-in closet. The master bathroom has a large walk-in shower, double vanity, and plenty of fluffy towels! We have provided a coffee maker, some of our favorite local coffee, as well as an assortment of teas and snacks in the room, but you are also welcome to make use of our kitchen. You can store groceries or snacks in the refrigerator, heat things in the microwave, or use the stove to whip up a meal! Feel free to enjoy meals in your room or make yourself at home at the dining room table. You may park in the driveway on the right hand side closest to trees. The front door is available for coming and going plus you will have your own key. I am usually here when you check in so I can meet my guests. I enjoy meeting new people, but we respect the privacy and needs of our guests. Mimi, our dog, is always ready for a belly rub, but the cat takes a little longer to warm up to new people. :) Both of them have free run of the house while we’re home, but we do keep them out of the master suite. We are native Kansans, but relatively new to the Kansas City area. My daughter and her husband, who live nearby, have lived here awhile longer though and have shared a list of some of their favorite places in the room. All of us ready and willing to answer questions and help you find your way though should you need help. The neighborhood is usual quite (sometime we do have an ambulance go done street, they have office down st.). It’s a great area for walking and the neighbors are friendly. I do have one dog and one cat and also accept your furry friends. My pets stay in my room when I am not home and I ask that you please keep yours in your room especially when you step out. I will sometimes allow all the pets to run and play with each other when I am home but please ask and since you know your pet best please be responsible about taking them out to potty.
