House 1797 - Ivo Detela Suite

Introducing the Ivo Detela Suite (Deluxe), featuring a spacious area with a 140cm-wide bed, a work desk with a chair, and 2 armchairs. Behind a curtain, there are 3 smaller spaces: a wardrobe, restroom, and a bathroom with a shower. The entire suite spans 20m². Named after the mayor of Doba, who resided in the house and used this room as his municipal office from 1927 to 1941. Located on the ground floor, it offers a cozy atmosphere blending original vintage furniture with modern touches. The space In the suite, guests can prepare coffee or tea and there's also a mini fridge available. Additionally, there's a shared washing machine. Within House 1797, a gallery showcases old items identified within the house, while the exhibition hall displays historical artifacts from the Lipica Stud Farm and presents a selection of local products. An attractive feature is the small old cellar, where wine tastings are offered. The pleasant garden allows for dining or lounging on sunbeds. Situated in the protected urban core of Dob since 1797, House 1797 has preserved the characteristics of Slovenian architecture through the centuries, offering a journey back to the charm of olden times in Slovenia.
