Desert retreat with mountain & high desert views. One bedroom townhome with lots of light and beautiful furnishment & décor. Situated in the quiet 55+ community of Altura/Academy Village, 10 miles east of Tucson & next to East Saguaro National Park. Only 30 minutes to/from the airport. -Minimum rental period for 1 month per HOA rules with the exception of if rental guest interested in looking to buy in the future. The space -King bed in bedroom can be split into 2 extra long twin beds. -Sofa bed is Queen size. -Streaming service available. Wireless & ethernet with high speed internet. -Landline with free calling anywhere in US, Canada & Mexico. (Minimal cell signal inside townhouse, improved with WiFi calling enabled on your phone after signed into internet.) -Extras for pool visit: Terry cloth robes, beach towels, hats, pool bag. -Insulated lunch bag & ice pack for pool or other outings, sunscreen. -Many enjoyable sights to drive to: the long admired Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Kartchner Caverns, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Tucson food tours, the very large Pima Air & Space Museum, plus many other museums in Tucson. -Lots of award winning restaurants in Tucson, especially welcome for foodies. -2 miles of hiking trails in the community, plus lots of nearby hiking areas. Or, just hang out & relax! -Location: 10 miles east of Tucson next to East Saguaro National Park, 21 miles to downtown, easy 30 min drive to airport. NOTE: THIS IS A NON SMOKING UNIT. -Per HOA rules, I need to give the Manager the names of guests & contact info, plus car make & license plate number, & dates of stay. At least one guest needs to show photo ID with birthdate to HOA manager to show compliance with 55+ rule. (Only one guest must be 55+) COVID-19 precautions are followed. Inquire for more details. Guest access Well maintained pool & hot tub, well equipped gym, yoga & exercise classes across the street at the Community Center, at no extra charge. Also included, guests may attend the lectures at the on-site Arizona Senior Academy & weekly live concerts, many associated with the University of AZ.
