This sweet lady is a charming old beauty built in 1907. We have used her gently for our vacation home for over a decade. The entire home, upstairs and down are available to guests including a fully furnished kitchen and dining room. Four bedrooms are available upstairs, a full bath, as well as a common room at the top of the stairs that leads out to a balcony. Downstairs : Living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath. We have pulled our blankets out and slept in the common room upstairs on summer nights just to enjoy the fresh air. Please remember that there are no parties allowed. One of the best kept secrets in the neighborhood is seasonally operated "Jesse's Little Kitchen" Nightly specials, pasta, pizza, Italian sandwiches, salads, wonderful fresh pies (which sell out early, so order them ahead of time if possible). Jesse operates her business in a huge Victorian home about a block from the house. There is no bus or train service. We rent a car in Boston, or Manchester NH and drive up. Boston is about four hours, Manchester 2.5 Hours. The drive is beautiful and once outside of Boston, the traffic is light. We have central heating which can also be switched to circulate cool air from the cellar throughout the house in the summer months. Screens are provided, and we enjoy the cool evening breezes at night.
