About 6 miles from Glastonbury with choice of either twin beds or double bed it is close to Somerton, Sreet, Glastonbury, Castle Cary and Shepton Mallet , A single storey property, with own access and entrance ideal for 1-2 persons with plenty of off road parking. Set in a quiet village location,with local pub, mini supermarket and petrol station it is just minutes from the A303 and A37 and an ideal base to use, to tour this lovely part of England. We provide milk on arrival +tea & coffee. The space Minutes from the A303 and just off the A37 and about 6 miles from Glastonbury,the Barton Annexe is a conversion of a former farm building but in a village setting, with petrol station/ mini-supermarket and good pub in walking distance.A central position makes this an ideal location for touring and visiting the many places Somerset has to offer,too numerous to mention. There are good walking, cycling and running routes from the Annexe and it sleeps 2 people comfortably which can either be twin beds or a double bed and can cater for babies or toddlers with cot and high chair available ,if requested. Great location for visiting local area, including Castle Cary, Glastonbury Tor, National Trust properties - Stourhead, Lytes Cary, Montacute nearby. Wells, Street (for Clarkes Village), Cheddar, Somerset Levels, Longleat, RSPB reserves (famous for starling mumurations) nearby. Dorset and Somerset coast line within one hour. Bristol, Bath and Taunton easy access (including by train).Own transport is recommended. Cot and high chair available on request. Guest access Annexe accommodation, plus small outdoor seating area adjacent to Annexe. Grassed area with swing ( use at own risk )shared with The Old Cowstall guest accommodation and occasional visiting grand-children at the top of the yard. Off-road parking. Undercover drying / muddy gear area and washing machine. Cycle/ buggy storage on request. Other things to note Although listed as 2 single beds there is a facility to link the beds together to make double bed if requested.
