Located a mile from Petworth and less than a minute's walk from the Horse Guards Inn, 2017 Good Pub Guide 'pub of the year', we are set in a lovely part of the South Downs National Park overlooking the Rother Valley. We back onto the wonderful 700-acre deer park landscaped by Capability Brown and are a fifteen-minute walk from Petworth House and the market town of Petworth known for its antiques, arts and culture and host to some delicious restaurants, cafes and award winning deli's! The space A lovely private sespace to one end of our family home with its own private entrance, grassed area and courtyard. We completed a thorough renovation of your space in April 2017. The room sits within a calm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a cosy romantic break, a working day or simply an escape from that busy life we all seem to lead. What ever your reason, Simplicity, Comfort & Charm awaits you. Your space offers a 'smart' TV with freeview and connectivity to your devices, free high speed WiFi connection, extended USB charging point, silent running fridge, tea and coffee making, hot water throughout the day together with iron/board and lovely soft towels within your private shower room. Several steps lead up to your own private approach and external entrance, passing a grassed area into your private courtyard area with rustic table and chairs. Seat pads are provided to ensure your comfort while enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of coffee outside. We have also installed a 'Masterlock' wall mounted anchor point, cable and heavy duty lock within a partially covered external area immediately outside of your space for those who are enjoying the local area on bikes and require secure storage. A few other little extras are also provided for your comfort and relaxation! Guest access Your space forms part of our family home, but is entirely independent with private entrance, courtyard and small garden area to ensure you have complete privacy. Your private entrance ensures freedom of movement without the restrictions that a communal entrance can at times present. The courtyard and grassed area to the rear and side of your space adds to that privacy and also provides you with your own area to enjoy. Private parking for one vehicle is provided. If you require any further parking please do speak to us and we will ensure that your second car is parked nearby. Other things to note Covid 19 Update: Please accept our apologies for the restricted availability. We have voluntarily adopted an enhanced additional cleaning protocol which necessitates a minimum 24 hour period between Guests to ensure your Safety and Comfort. Your continental breakfast of cereals, yoghurt, fresh juice, tea and coffee is ready and waiting for you upon your arrival to ensure that you have no restrictions on when and how you enjoy your breakfast! Enjoy a lay in, or if you are on the road early next morning you will not miss out on your breakfast!
