Bass Creek's Cozy Outback – Country Retreat

The Apartment you'll be staying in is a very comfortable easy country living in a small village. Built in the late 1800s, With a large addition added in the mid50s. This beautiful 2 bedroom upstairs apartment is about two minutes away from a great bike path called "Peace Trail". You can enjoy biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing the creek or river, cross country skiing, dining nearby. The Apartment is very unique and beautiful. I'm sure you will love your stay. We hope to see you soon! The space Upstairs Apartment! This is a surprisingly large upstairs apartment. With two bedrooms and extra sitting room. A large living room with a TV., but with the view you won't even want a TV. You will just enjoy the view with your family. The 10x10 deck with table umbrella and four chairs I'm sure you will enjoy. The Apartment is 5 to 9 miles away from the grocery store "Woodman's Food Mart". The closest "Kwik Trip" is 3 miles which is a grocery gas station with excellent meat products. Guest access You'll have access to the entire Apartment. Which has a large 10x10 deck attached, and the yard is hugh. A swing set for kids and a swing for adults also. Across 1st St. is an area were the Audubon Society has one acre for bird watching, (also the canoe launch) and they are working to make it more inviting to the birds they would like to have here. We have access to bikes for the trail as well and two canoes for your use. Just ask and we will help you with access to them Other things to note If you're the active kind of person and have time for bike riding you will love the bike trails and can bike around Rock county starting from our spot. Either headed south to Beloit or north to Janesville. Thanks to our Rock Coalition and avid bikers in the area it is very well maintained. Beloit has the Best Farmers Market around next only to Madison Open Saturdays from 9am - 12pm a must see. Skelly's Farm Market is only less than 3 miles and open Monday - Sunday 9am - 6pm. Janesville also has Rock County Farmers Market that is sure to please Open Sunday 9am - 1pm. All markets are seasonal. In the winter if your looking for something inside we have the one and only BIFF- Beloit International Film Festival. It goes for about a week or so at the end of February. BIFF also has a YEAR ROUND so you can find there movies on that sight. There are many other things to do in the area. Just go to "visitbeloit" to find many more things to do in the area.
