Private Cabin by Lake Merritt

Backyard cabin steps away from Lake Merritt and Grand Avenue restaurants and businesses. Very quiet and cozy space for singles and couples, the cabin can work for 3 or 4 close friends who are very comfortable with sharing space .Convenient to public transportation, easy commute to San Francisco or Berkeley. Located behind our home . 400 square foot cabin with sleeping loft. The space A Double Bed with Memory Foam Mattress on the Main level as well as a cozy sleeping loft with double bed that is accessed by a ladder. The large open space has a sitting area , dining and kitchen area with mini refrigerator, microwave and electric teakettle. No serious cooking in the cabin, but many great restaurants within walking distance. Small bathroom and private outdoor shower / tub. We provide warm robes and slippers for walking to the shower but please make sure you do not mind showering outdoors especially in winter! Most guests really enjoy the shower ( see the reviews) but please make sure you are comfortable with this. Nice backyard space outside cabin. No smoking please. A driveway parking spot can be made available by request. Please let us know before your arrival if you need a parking space. Guest access This is a very quiet self contained small cabin located behind our family home. Other things to note This cabin works well for small family groups, couples , friends , and business travelers. Please note there is no kitchen, but coffee and tea set up along with a mini refrigerator and microwave . There are wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood as well as Trader Joe's and Whole Foods within walking distance.
