Located on 120 acres just 19 miles from The Great Sand Dunes National Park entrance - Rustic Rook Resort invites you to enjoy the best of camping with out the mess. Take in the majestic views of the massive 14,000ft tall Sangre De Cristo mountain range towering over the sand dunes right from your glamping tent with a complimentary hot breakfast each morning and S’mores by the campfire at night. For more information and other lodging options visit Rustic Rook Resort's website (search name online) The space Our most desirable accommodations are our large comfortable 16’x20′ Estate tents that include a king bed and your own in tent bathroom with a shower, sink and flushing toilet. Relax in the lounge area by the camp stove or watch the sun rise as you sit on your private deck. Estate tents also include their own gas grill outside, and a fold out couch inside for additional guests (best suites for small adults or children under 5' tall). Count on the following being provided: ➼ All bedding ➼ Towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash ➼Up to 2 cots can be added to your tent for $15ea/stay. ➼Mountain/Sand Dune views from your private deck ➼ Hot Farm to table Breakfast (locally sourced!) ➼S’mores by the camp fire each night ➼lanterns and a USB charging station to use during your stay ➼(1) bundle of wood for the stove per night booked. (additional wood available for purchase) ➼Max occupancy: (5) people – (you will need to have one child sleep on the couch, 2 people on the king bed, and add 2 cots for the remaining 2 people to make this work - we only recommend this number of people in this tent for families with children) ➼Price includes (2) people. Additional people over 12 years old are $30ea/night and $15ea/night for people under 12. ➼ Max dog occupancy: (2) – add $25/dog per stay Sand sled rentals are also available for rent ($20ea) from our lobby, we also sell soda, ice cream bars, beer, wine and a small verity of other items at our camp store. You can also purchase a grill pack or adventure lunch from us (48 hour notice required). Rustic Rook Resort features 30 canvas tents on wooden platforms - all tents are fully furnished and some have - in-tent plumbing. Please search for Rustic Rook resort online to find our website for additional lodging options, events, camp activities, packing suggestions, things to do in the area etc. Your tent is private along with your porch with mountain and sand dunes views - shared spaces include the picnic area with gas grills, horseshoes, corn hole, dog park, kids sand box and big wheels track, sunrise loop trail, volleyball (ask to borrow a volleyball), and frisbee golf course ($2 frisbee rentals). We also have Yoga on Saturday mornings and a monthly dark sky photography class. Be sure to check out our website for additional information , food options and pictures. Guest access Community areas include the lobby, outdoor game areas, dog park, frisbee golf course, volleyball, walking paths, community fire pits. Other things to note Please pack accordingly - it's glamerious camping - but you will still be staying in a tent. Check the weather and make sure to bring clothing options - think layers...
