This charming rustic home has a lot to offer. It has many nooks where your family can unite and create moments for their memory buckets. Florida room allows you to observe nature and is a perfect spot for your coffee. The house has one master bedroom (king size bed) with attached full bathroom. It has a second bedroom with two built-in beds (twin and full size). There is a separate shower room and a separate restroom. Upstairs it has a 3rd bedroom with 2 built in twin beds and a 1/2 bathroom. The space Green friendly home built by original owner architect and his two sons in 1982. I would describe the home as rustic industrial. People often comment it feels like a Frank Lloyd Wright design. The home incorporates an "envelope" heating and cooling design to help naturally moderate the temperature in the house (in addition to central A/C and Heat). The home is located in residential historic area of Lake Helen. Bedroom 1 and 2 are located on the first floor and bedroom 3 is located on the second floor via spiral staircase. The second floor includes a separate gathering area (game room/reading area) and a half bath (sink/toilet), along with a 42 inch smart tv. All bedrooms have newer, high-quality mattresses. We use breathable organic-cotton sheets (GOTS-certified). We are looking forward to host you in our place. Guest access The entire house is available for the guests. Garage is not included. Honesty Is The Best Policy: When booking, please list the actual number of people that will be staying in the home. We are a mom and pop shop and do charge a little more for extra guests to help cover our costs. Thanks :) Other things to note The home is located on a quiet street in Lake Helen. The driveway can fit up to 4 cars fairly comfortably. Different vendors feature their products in the beautiful Artisan Alley in historic downtown Deland every Friday from 6-9 P.M. It is 25 minutes away from the beach and 1 hour away from Disney, 45 minutes away from Universal. We are close to Orlando Sanford International airport, and 50 minutes away from MCO. If you are traveling from abroad, we highly recommend to rent a car. Public transportation doesn’t exist in our area.
