Railway Cottage is the perfect relaxing place to stay for a coastal retreat. Situated only a short walk from South Beach at Blyth, Railway Cottage lies at the gateway to Northumberland; a land of big adventures, breath-taking beauty and unlimited possibilities. Discover romantically ruinous castles, barely-visited beaches, bunting-strewn market towns, and enjoy unlimited experiences. The space The cottage has a relaxing lounge with 2 large sofas and Smart TV with Netflix. The dining room is a spacious area with dining table to seat up to 5. The fully fitted kitchen boasts integral appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, Fridge Freezer, oven, hob and microwave. Upstairs the bedrooms offer a master with double bed and 1200 wide shower & WC ensuite. The twin room offers 2 single beds and there is a further single room with 1 single bed. The ground floor bathroom has hand-basin, WC , a roll top bath with rainfall shower over. We have off road private parking for our guests. Electric car charging is not possible at this property and is strictly prohibited A standard Travel cot is available but we do not provide any bedding/linen for this. This needs to be booked in advance A 'Next to me' crib is available but we do not provide any bedding /linen for this. This needs to be booked in advance An Ikea high chair is available- it does not have strap fastenings. This needs to be booked in advance Guest access Guests have exclusive access to all of the property. To the rear of the property is a small pleasantly decorated yard which is ideal for morning coffee. To the front of the property is an enclosed garden with patio and furniture. This garden gets the sun most of day Other things to note Your dog is welcome to join you on your stay too. We do make an extra charge per stay for your pet - to cover additional cleaning required and would ask that you check our house rules in relation to pets before booking. Blyth Beach imposes restrictions on dogs from 1 May to 30 September and allows use of the most northern and most southern ends of the beach only to dogs. Please check the additional pictures in our gallery and the area of beach outlined in red is 'out of bounds' to dogs.
